Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) are hardwired throughout The Linde Group. Our SHEQ policy shapes the way we behave and the decisions we make. It also ensures that every person in The Linde Group assumes responsibility for their actions.
Our aim is to continuously improve the quality of our products and services whilst maintaining a high level of safety and environmental protection. To help us do this, we have created a management system that covers all aspects of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ). It is applied to all Group sites across the globe for the benefit of our customers, our employees and the general public. Our safety goals are defined in our SHEQ policy.
Food & beverages:
Our commitment to safety often goes beyond the principles set down in our SHEQ safety policy. Linde has developed its own policy aimed at ensuring safety in the food and beverages market.
Linde is certified to ISO 9001. The ISO 9000 family of standards provides a benchmark for organisations committed to implementing quality management systems that bring competitive advantages in the following areas:Customer satisfaction and retention
Fact-based decision making
Mutually beneficial supplier relationships
Linde Management System & Standards (LIMSS)
We have established the Linde Management System and Standards (LiMSS) programme, a global system for managing our activities and promoting continuous improvement. These standards define the procedures and guidelines for operational processes and activities. They meet external requirements such as ISO 9001 as well as legal specifications and European directives (e.g. REACH and GHS) and beyond. LiMSS helps us to raise SHEQ standards throughout the company.
Our Linde Code of Ethics anchors ethical conduct within our organisation, outlining our sense of responsibility to our employees, customers and suppliers as well as to the environment, the authorities and our competitors.
Linde is a member of various associations, including EIGA (European Industrial Gases Association), an organisation of companies committed to ensuring the highest level of safety and environmental care in the handling of gases.
